Biographie de Linkin Park
Linkin Park est un groupe de rock formé à Agoura Hills, US en 1996.
Il est composé de Chester 'Charles' Bennington (né le 20 mars 1976 à Phoenix, Arizona, chant-guitare), Michael Kenji "Mike" Shinoda (né le 11 février 1977 à Agoura Hills, chant-guitare-clavier-piano), Bradford Phillip "Brad" Delson (surnommé Big Bad Brad, né le 1er décembre 1977 à Los Angeles, guitare-piano-chœur) Joseph "Joe" Hahn (né le 15 mars 1977 à Dallas, Texas, DJ-sample) Rob Bourdon, (de son vrai nom Robert Gregory Bourdon, né le 20 janvier 1979 à Agoura Hills, batterie) et de Dave Farrell dit "Phoenix" (de son vrai nom David Michael Farrell, né le 8 février 1977 à Plymouth US, basse-guitare-violon).
A ses débuts, le groupe s'appelle Xero puis Hybrid Theory. Mais, cette appellation ayant déjà été utilisée par un groupe d'électro, Hybrid Theory devient Lincoln Park, puis Linkin Park. L'album 'Hybrid Theory' sort le 24 octobre 2000, et en 2 mois devient disque d'or aux Etats Unis.
Chester Bennington se suicide le 20 juillet 2017. Emily Armstrong rejoint le groupe en tant que chanteuse en 2023.
