Explication
Cette chanson est le récital d'un célèbre poème intitulé “Liber LXXVII” (Liber 77) ou “Liber OZ” écrit par Aleister Crowley, fondateur de l'Abbaye de Thélème. “Théléma” signifiant en grec “Volonté”.
Le poète joue sur le sens de l'anglais “(to) will” qui est à la fois le verbe “vouloir” et l'auxiliaire indiquant le temps futur. On aurait donc pu traduire autrement “comme il souhaite” par “tel qu'il en sera” ou “ainsi sera-t-il” (amen).
