Ce morceau concerne la colonie libertaire Libertalia, qui aurait été fondée par des pirates sur l'île de Madagascar, qui aurait existé une vingtaine d'années à la fin du XVIIème siècle. Toutefois, on ignore si cette colonie ait réellement existé. La devise de cette République était "Pro deo et libertate" (Pour Dieu et la Liberté).
