Le titre parle de ceux qui sont victimes d'une dépendance.
David: "Addiction has claimed so many of my friends and colleagues. And oftentimes bringing an end to it, via suicide or any other means, intentional or otherwise, is a way out, and they don’t have enough of an inspiration to keep fighting. So realistically, I wrote this about the same scenario I wrote about on Inside The Fire. My ex that I wrote about in the song wasn’t the only person in my life I’ve had to deal with in that situation. I’m hoping that people can hear it and realize that someone understands, and hopefully it’s a means of encouragement for them to keep fighting."
"L'addiction a causé la mort de tant de mes amis et collègues. Et souvent, y mettre fin, par le suicide ou tout autre moyen, intentionnel ou autre, est une issue, et ils n'ont pas assez d'inspiration pour continuer à se battre. Donc, de façon réaliste, j'ai écrit ça sur le même scénario que j'ai écrit 'Inside The Fire'. Mon ex dont j'ai parlé dans la chanson n'était pas la seule personne de ma vie à laquelle j'ai eu à faire face à cette situation. J'espère que les gens puissent entendre et se rendre compte que quelqu'un comprend, et j'espère que c'est un moyen de les encourager à se battre."
