La chanson voit le groupe critiquer l'Amérique avec son obsession des médias sociaux et fait un clin d'œil au contrôle des armes à feu et à la violence armée (principalement dans les écoles) dans le pays. Le titre lui-même fait référence à la chanson "Do You Wanna Touch Me (Oh Yeah)" de Joan Jett & The Blackhearts telle qu'elle est samplée dans cette piste, ce qui marque la première fois que Green Day utilise un extrait de chanson.
