Aurora: "It was, I think, at school in 9th grade. We were going to make a music project and that resulted in “Runaway”. I didn’t like school; I didn’t like homework or bringing schoolwork home. And then I decided to just make a song. At that time I wrote a song that I didn’t understand fully, but that later turned out to be a very important song that I understand well today. And it makes more and more sense, especially when I’m on tour, and that’s very nice. I feel like little-Aurora gave the older-Aurora a gift by writing a song that maybe could be useful later in life. That song from little-Aurora and that period of my life is with me now and will continue to be forever on my further travels."
"C'était, je pense, à l'école en 9e année. Nous allions faire un projet musical et cela a abouti à «Runaway». Je n’aimais pas l’école; Je n’aimais pas les devoirs ou rapporter mes devoirs à la maison. Et puis j'ai décidé de faire une chanson. A cette époque, j'ai écrit une chanson que je ne comprenais pas complètement, mais qui s'est avérée plus tard être une chanson très importante que je comprends bien aujourd'hui. Et ça a de plus en plus de sens, surtout quand je suis en tournée, et c’est très agréable. J'ai l'impression que la petite Aurora a fait un cadeau à l'ancienne Aurora en écrivant une chanson qui pourrait peut-être être utile plus tard dans la vie. Cette chanson de Little-Aurora et cette période de ma vie sont avec moi maintenant et continueront d'être pour toujours dans mes prochains voyages."
